Lapo Guadalupi’s practice focuses on litigation, sports law and corporate law.

Litigation. Lapo has extensive knowledge and experience of various aspects of liability as a consequence of exposure to noxious substances (civil, criminal, employment and insurance law implications) in particular in the work environment (asbestos, acids, industrial dust and smoke). He also has significant experience in medical professional indemnity matters, defending medical professionals, patients and hospital bodies.
Additionally, Lapo has participated in national and international arbitrations, both as arbitrator and lawyer, in accordance with the rules of the principal arbitration institutions. He also focuses on civil litigation in relation to property law and inheritance issues, and he has significant experience in acting on behalf of trustees for assistance both in relation to court proceedings and non-court proceedings.

Sports Law. Lapo’s practice also specializes in sports law, acting on behalf of professional soccer players, agents and soccer clubs, and advocacy in state courts in relation to financial disputes and disciplinary proceedings, including:
Arbitration on financial issues conducted in accordance with the Agents’ Regulations 2001, relating to failure of payment of agents’ fees and applications for damages; disciplinary arbitration proceedings established by the Lega Calcio (Milan) relating to professional soccer players sanctioned by their clubs; numerous arbitrations on financial issues with the arbitral tribunal established by the Lega Pro (Florence) relating to claims for unpaid wages, damages and accrued bonuses; disciplinary proceedings before the FIGC (Italian Soccer Federation) Disciplinary Commission and the FIGC Federal Court; and disciplinary proceedings in relation to anti-doping.
His sports law practice also includes drafting and advising in relation to sponsorship contracts, merchandising contracts and termination of broadcasting rights in relation to sporting events.

Corporate Law. Lapo has experience in various corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, and assisting in day-to-day corporate activities such as preparing corporate documents and board resolutions, as well as conducting legal due diligence.
